Besides excellent fishing, your stay will provide you with opportunities for:

Canoeing and Hiking: Guests are free to hike and/or canoe at will on the many portages and streams in the vicinity of Thompson Lake. 14 – 16 foot canoes are available.

Hunting: An excellent population of Black Bear is present in the area. Some trophy-sized bears have been sighted. Moose hunting is presently being discouraged due to low populations.

Relaxing: Without television and telephones, there is plenty of time to catch up on reading, writing, and sleep during your stay at Thompson Lake! Children will enjoy warm-water swimming off the boat dock during summer months.
